Consent for 447 Homes, Community Centre and Retail Unit at the Gateway, NE Bexhill

John Long Planning is pleased to confirm that consent was given for 447 homes, community centre, retail unit and open space at The Gateway, North East Bexhill-on-Sea on behalf of Vistry (Kent). This was closely followed by a planning approval for a Community Heat Hub to serve the new development. The heat hub will provide hot water and heating for 800 dwellings, a community centre and retail unit. This is the first such scheme for Vistry. The heat hub will be installed by GTC/Metropolitan for Vistry and work is due to start later in 2024: https://www.gtc-uk.co.uk/news/gtc-january-2024-news-round-up/John Long Planning acted as agent for both schemes.
John Long Planning, working collaboratively with Aimee Lake Planning is delighted to have secured a prior approval consent for the conversion of a vacant commercial unit into an innovative new teaching facility for PCT Education Services in Great Yarmouth. The facility will provide vulnerable children with individual education needs and those that have not thrived in a traditional teaching environment to learn vocational skills in a commercial/industrial environment better equipping them for the work place.
